A South African actor, Adhir Kalyan is currently engaged to actress Emily Wilson. He is well known for his role as Timmy in the CBS sitcom "Rules of Engagement". Adhir Kalyan was born to politician mother, Santosh Vinita Kalyan, served on the South African National Assembly's Parliament as a representative of the Democratic Alliance and father Jitendra Kalyn. Adhir completed his schooling at Crawford College in Durban.
At the age of twenty, he moved to London to pursue his dream of an acting career. Adhir Kalyan made his first role in the BBC series “Holby City “(series 8) as Arjmand Younis, in Spooks (series 5). Kalyan also appeared in the films Paul Blart: Mall Cop as Pahud, a teenager. He portrayed recurring characters in the fifth season of the cable showNip/Tu. He engaged to actress Emily Wilson.
