American news reporter, Andrew Ehinger is currently working for News 12 Long Island. He graduated from Trinity School, Manhattan. He then joined Syracuse University and graduated with a degree in arts and science with a specialization in Political Science from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Ehinger’s first full-time job was a general assignment reporter at WTAJ-TV in 1992. During his time serving WTAJ, he covered major stories like the crash of USAIR Flight 427 and Tom Ridge’s campaign for Pennsylvania Governor.
Andrew Ehinger also covered the notable series such as Food Lion vs ABC and numerous current events at that time. He also worked for WAER-FM as a reporter. Prior to joining News 12 Long Island at the end of 1999, Ehinger worked for several other cable network firms, including WFMY-TV, GNET and UUTV. He has won New York Emmy awards for his undercover investigations of gas stations. Currently, he works for News 12 Long Island and Velox Communications.
