Andrew Mark Miller is an American professional baseball relief pitcher for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2006. Miller was traded by the Tigers to Florida after the 2007 season, then traded to Boston after the 2010 season. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and joined the Boston Red Sox in 2011 and also earned the Roger Clemens Award during his senior season with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Along with other name and fame he was also named as Baseball America National Player of the Year.
Andrew Miller is married to Katie Miller who was a competitive soccer player at Duke. Apparently they get really competitive together whenever Duke and Andrew’s alma mater North Carolina play. Both belonging to same profession are living a happy married life. Andrew’s wife Katie is now an official Baltimore resident, as she and Andrew have been shipped off unceremoniously to a team with a much higher chance of winning the World Series than Andrew’s old team the Red Sox.
