An American renowned funk singer. When she was small, she used to listen songs of B.B. King, Jimmy Reed, and Elmore James. She started to write songs since she was twelve. Her first song is "I’m Going to Bake That Cake of Love". When she was 16, she joined at Fashion Institute of Technology and lived with her aunt. She also worked as a model for Seventeen, Ebony and Glamour. She released her first album Betty Davis in 1973. Song named "If I'm In Luck I Might Get Picked Up" and "Shut Off The Lights" became Billboards chart hit from that album.
