He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 41st round of the 2004 MLB June Amateur Draft from Centennial HS and the Colorado Rockies in the 30th round of the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Georgia. He has been able to create some of the great records in the field of Baseball. He is positioned as catcher and first baseman. Besides he is popularly known as the former husband of famous actress Lauren Scyphers.
