Spanish socialite as well as a TV host, Chábeli Iglesias is popularly known as the daughter of the famous Filipina socialite, Isabel Preysler and Spanish singer, Julio Iglesias. She started her career as a teenage model. She featured several in local and international magazine covers. Early life
Chábeli Iglesias was born Maria Isabel Iglesias Preysler on 3rd September 1971 in Cascais, Portugal. She holds Spanish nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity.
Iglesias is the daughter born to Filipina socialite Isabel Preysler and Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, who divorced when she was only six. Her mother later married Carlos Falcó and Miguel Boyer.
Iglesias has two younger brothers, Julio Iglesias Jr., and Enrique Iglesias. Both of them are popular singers. Her brother Enrique is known for his hit singles such as Hero and Be With You.

In 1990, Chábeli Iglesias appeared in various television shows, mainly in Spanish-language channels such as Univisión and Telemundo.

Iglesias married businessman Christian Fernando Altaba on 8th October 2001. She gave birth to her first child, a boy named Alejandro Altaba. Their son was born prematurely on January 14, 2002.
On 2nd February 2010, Iglesias announced that she was pregnant with twin girls who were expected to be born in the summer of 2010. Unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage on March 12, 2010.
