He was an American Journalist and newscaster, best known as a prime-time anchor at NECN, where he anchored The Chet Curtis Report and also co-anchored the New England Business Day. He was inducted into the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame on September 12, 2013. His started his journalism career in Boston at the former WHDH-TV Channel 5. He was a graduate of Ithaca College.
Moving on to his personal life, he was married twice. He stayed with his first wife for almost fourteen years and with her he had raised two daughters. Right after the divorce with his first wife, he again got married to a woman who is a newscaster. The couple together had appeared on a News show. After 26 years of marriage they got separated and have a daughter as well. He died of pancreatic cancer, at the age of 74.
