Colton Haynes Biography

Early Life & Education

The 28-years-old actor Colton Haynes belongs to white ethnicity and holds an American nationality. He was raised in Andale, Kansas with one sister and two brothers. He is the son of Dana Denise Mitchell and William Clayton Haynes.

Superhero of the TV series Arrow, Haynes studied Navarre High School in Florida, and later he attended Andale High School in Kansas. He graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz, Texas.

Career            

Colton started his profession as a model at the age of 15 in New York City, New York. He gained fame after featuring in a Bruce Weber photo shoot for Abercrombie & Fitch. After that, he began modeling in campaigns for J. C. Penney, Kira Plastinina, and Ralph Lauren.

In 2008, Haynes continued modeling in campaigns including Verizon and also appeared in several magazines such as Arena and Teen Vogue.

Televisions and films Career

Haynes played an uncredited role in the 2007 blockbuster “Transformers.” He also appeared on “The Hills," and “CSI: Miami.” In 2008, he auditioned for the part of Edward Cullen in the movie version of Stephenie Meyer’s young adult novel, Twilight but he didn't get the part.

In 2008, Haynes performed on the TV series, Pushing Daisies and Privileged. He was cast in the Hallmark Channel movie, “Always and Forever.” Filming started in December 2008 and released to television on October 24, 2009.

In March 2010, Colton portrayed Brett Crezski for the ABC television series, “The Gates.” After that, he played the role of Jackson Whittemore in the MTV series, “Teen Wolf," which on vacation on the 1985 film of the same name. In 2012, Colton left the show and was cast as a recurring member on the hit CW show “Arrow," where he played Roy Harper. He was then made a regular cast on Arrow for season 2. He left the series at the end of season 3.

In April 2007, Haynes performed in My Chemical Romance’s music video for their single “I Don’t Love You,” which was directed by Marc Webb. In September 2012, he was the main in Leona Lewis’s music video “Trouble."

In July 2013, Haynes starred in Victoria Justice’s music video “Gold,” and much more. He also released few snippets to several covers of songs he had done. In December 2013, Haynes released a single along with Travis-Atreo called “Baby It’s Christmas.”

Personal Life 

The actor from Arrow, Colton Haynes is still unmarried. But he is not single. In January 2016, after years of public speculation regarding his “secret gay past,”  he responded to a comment on Tumblr on photos that appeared in gay lifestyle magazine XY. The media took it as Colton coming out as gay.

However, Haynes was not ready to reveal his sexual orientation and sought treatment for his anxiety for the next three months. Later, he publicly came out as gay in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in May 2016.

Haynes’s engaged to Jeff Leatham            

Former Teen Wolf actor, Colton got engaged to his boyfriend Jeff Leatham on Saturday night, March 11, 2017, while on the vacation in Mexico. 

Recently, Colton Haynes revealed he would be a father very soon. A Hollywood florist, Leatham proposed to Haynes on the beach in Los Cabos, Mexico in March. Before Leatham, Colton has been linked up with few beautiful's ladies. But Haynes proved all the rumors false when he revealed his sexual orientation.
