An American television journalist who was popular as former co-anchor on Weekend Today. He graduated from Pitzer College. From his young age he was avid ice hockey player. He started his career as news reporter at WKBT-TV in La Crosse, Wisconsin where he used to cover local government stories. Later he left the station and worked for KWCH-TV in Wichita as general assignment reporter. He also worked as correspondent for NBC News.For his coverage during Iraq war he was honored with prestigious regional Emmy Award. He had to face untimely death due to deep vein thrombosis.
He was happily married man. He was tied in knot with his longtime girlfriend whom he loved very much. Together the couple were blessed with three beautiful daughters. He used to live in Pound Ridge, New York with his wife and his daughter. His wife and his three daughters supported till his last time in hospital. After his death his wife is working with Coalition to Prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
