American television journalist, Deborah Roberts is the daughter of Benjamin Roberts, a business owner, and Ruth Roberts. She graduated from the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. In 1982, Roberts began her career at WTVM, a local television station in Columbus, Georgia. In 2016, Deborah published a non-fiction book entitled 'Been There, Done That: Family Wisdom for Modern Times', with her husband Al Roker.
Benjamin Roberts married Al Roker, a television personality, weather forecaster, actor, and book author. Her husband is best known as being the weather anchor on NBC's Today. The couple has been together since 1995.
