Debra Jeter Divorced From Lester Jeter

Debra Janelle Jeter is an American mother and civilian who gained notoriety with the motive to murder her two kids. Talking about her marriage, Debra was once happily married to Lester Jeter and had two children, Kiersten Jeter, and Kelsey Jeter who arrived in this world on May 24, 1997.

The date of their short-lived marriage is not revealed. Sadly the two weren't lucky in maintaining a perfect relationship for a long time, as their marriage went downhill. Speaking of which, Kelsey passed away at the house. Upon discovery, cases were filed and Kiersten Leigh Jeter was transported to the hospital. 

Sadly the pair's happiness couldn't last long as in May 2009, Lester filed for a split from Debra. What happened was difficult for Debra to accept. Mr. Lester had filed for a divorce while Jeter was still kept in the mental health facility and he asked for full custody of their children.

Consequently, Debra attempted to commit suicide in front of her two kids. Debra was admitted to a mental health facility shortly after the event for treatment. Her spouse got temporary custody of their kids during her brief stay and obtained a non-permanent restraining order against her thinking she would harm the girls.

On June 5, 2009, she had a scheduled visit for the first with her daughters after a 15-day of a restraining order. Unfortunately, this would be an event that placed two vulnerable teenage girls' lives in jeopardy. Debra picked up her daughters from her dad, claiming to have a surprise for them.

The same day, Debra made a chilling 911 call to confess to physically attacking her children to even the scores with her former husband. Debra had taken both of her kids to an abandoned house in the countryside of Texas and attacked Kiersten and Kelsey with a knife, which would eventually kill one.

As per the source, Kelsey Jeter was a member of Central Baptist Church of Hillsboro. Her funeral services were held on June 13, 2009, at Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Her burial was at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. 

Speaking of which Kiersten made it out alive but Kelsey died of the injury. The police had to act instantaneously and took her to the hospital where she was fighting for her dear life. She was a nurse but she didn't choose to attend to her daughter, Kiersten who was fighting for her dear life.

The incident took place, a day after Debra got released from the facility. A judge removed the prohibition on Debra to let her see her children on an unsupervised visit. She was previously, transferred to a mental health center in 2004 when she mistreated her babies.

Debra Janelle Jeter became the talk of the town when she brutally killed one of her daughters and put down another one with the intent to murder her too. And the major question the fans are asking includes her whereabouts and whether is she still breathing.
