An American former news anchor who devoted four decade of his precious life working with with Oakland, CA-based KTVU. He completed his high school from Rossford High School. After he was offered with journalism scholarship he attended Columbia University. In 1968 he started his career in journalism by joining KTVU as a clerk typist and eventually anchor. He is also first African-Americans to be chief anchor of a major market TV newscast. He retired at the age of 65 years old. He is also most respected dean of Bay Area TV news anchors. He has been awarded with Black Media Coalition Journalist of the Year Award and several Emmy Awards during his career.
Talking about his marital status he is a married man. Together they seem to be very happy with each other. According to his wife he is very softhearted person and especially more when it is about story about children. She also told that he is very supportive husband. Together the couple are parents of one daughter who is actually daughter from his former relationship. Information on his past affairs is not known. He also have two grand children now. Playing Golf is one of his favorite hobby.
