Devin the Dude, born as Devin Copeland, is an American rapper and hip-hop record producer. He spent his childhood moving back and forth from New Boston and Houston. When he was in seventh grade, he smoked marijuana for the first time which became his major influence in music. Devin started his career as a member of the group “Odd Squad”. Later, he became a member of labelmate Scarface’s group “Facemob”.
Devin the Dude has given guest appearances in Dr.Dre’s "Fuck You", Slim Thug’s "I’m Back", and Boss of All Bosses. He has worked in some of the movies including "Hillbilly Highway", "Devin the Dude Live", "Self Helpless", and "Rap-a-Lot: Greatest Hits: Vol. 1." Devin is considered a strong hip-hop artist.
