An actress and singer Florence Henderson is well known for her starring role as matriarch Carol Brady on the ABC sitcom “The Brady Bunch”. Henderson was born to the parents of a homemaker Elizabeth and a tobacco sharecropper Joseph Henderson . She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Florence Henderson was married to Ira Bernstein in January 1956. They met during the filming of The Brady Bunch in Los Angeles, the couple has four children named, Barbara, Lizzie, Joseph, and Robert.
She divorced Bernstein in 1985 after almost 29 years of marriage. Later Florence Henderson remarried to hypnotherapist John Kappas in 1987. He was a founder of the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, whom she met while battling depression in the mid-1980s. But Kappas died in 2002.
On November 2016, Henderson died at the age of 82 on ThanksgivingDay from heart failure.
