Born Gina Maria Prince, now known as Gina Prince-Bythewood is an American film director and screenwriter. She is known for directing and producing the films like Disappearing Acts and Love & Basketball, The Secret Life of Bees and Beyond the Lights. She was adopted and raised by Bob Prince, a computer programmer and Maria Prince, a nurse. She studied and graduated from UCLA Film School.
Accounting her personal life, she is a happily married woman. Till now she is married only once and with her beloved husband she has raised two sons. There is no sign of their divorce, as the two are totally satisfied and are loyal towards each other. Currently, the family resides in Southern California.
