Gloria Reuben is a Canadian-American singer, actress and producer best known for her appearance in the medical drama ER where she portrayed the character of Jeanie Boulet. She was born to her parents Pearl Avis and Cyril George Reuben. Gloria studied piano as a child and studied ballet, jazz and music technique. She is also known for her outstanding acting skills in the TV show "Raising the Bar" as Rosalind Whitman.
Gloria Reuben was cast in the role of Jeanie Boulet, an HIV-positive physician assistant in ER. Her role started as a guest role in the Season 1 and she was cast as a full-time member in Season 2. Gloria left the show on the 6th season of the show and returned for the 14th season. Because of her role, she has become an activist in HIV/AIDS. Gloria was previously married to Wayne Isaak but they got divorced later.
