Howard Korder is an American playwright and screenwriter. He is the author of 'Boy’s Life,' which received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama nomination. He is also the writer of 'Search and Destroy,' which was made into a film in 1995. His other works as a screenwriter include Lakeview Terrace and The Passion of Ayn Rand. Korder joined Broadwalk Empire crew as a writer and supervising producer in the season one and was later promoted to Executive producer and writer in 2013. The episodes he wrote for 'Broadwalk Empire' are Family Limatation, Paris Green, Gimrack and Bunkum, Ourselves Aone, Pegs of Old, The Pony, Sunday Best, Margate Sands and much more. In 2010, the writters of the first season won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best New Series.
