Jack Andrew Lowden was born on the 2nd of June, 1990, in Orkney, Scotland. He hails from the Scottish Borders village of Oxton and a graduate of Earlston High School. Lowden was introduced to acting at an early age and started acting at the Scottish Youth Theatre when he was 10 years old. He continued his studies by graduating from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2011, preparing the foundation for his professional acting career.
