An American television anchor who is widely known as anchor for NBC. She is also former anchor of WTVJ-TV . She graduated from St. Brendan High School and obtained a degree in journalism from Florida International University. She started her career as model for Univision's Saturday night variety show named "Sabado Gigante." She is also the first Hispanic ever to anchor a network news program in English channel. While she was working at NBC she was the weekend edition of NBC's Today.

Jackie Nespral was born on April 21, 1967, in Florida, U.S. She was raised in the Little Havana area of Miami with her two brothers; Jose and Frank. Nationality wise she is an American and belongs to the white ethnicity.

Nespral completed her graduation in 1984 from St. Brendan High School. Later she joined Univerity of Miami and earned her degrees in psychology and communications.
She began her career in entertainment and television during her college days at the University of Miami, where she was elected Orange Bowl Queen in Miami consecutively in two years; 1985 and 1986. She is also inducted into UM's Iron Arrow Honor Society.
Following her graduation, she went to Florida International University to complete her degree in print and broadcast journalism.
Career
Nespral professional career has begun as a spokesmodel for Sabado Gigante on Univision. In 1990, she is chosen as one of the anchors of Univision's national news show, Noticias y Mas ("News and More").
She also worked for the Television Marti, and at CNN's Miami affiliate, Dynamic Cablevision. In 1991 she moved to New York city where she became the first Hispanic American network television news anchor.
Later she returned to Miami and assigned as an anchorwoman for WTVJ-TV, the NBC O&O station in Miami. Nespral is a member of board director for the March of Dimes organization and the University of Miami. She is also involved with the Columbia Women's Center.
