Jason Lively is an American former actor best known for the role of Rusty Griswold in the 1985 film, National Lampoon's European Vacation. He also recognized for his character as Chris in Night of the Creeps. Lively has two sons along with his wife, Lani. Jason Lively was born Ronald Jason Lively on March 12, 1968, in Carroll County, Georgia. He is American and belongs to the White-American ethnicity.
Lively was born to mother, Elaine (née McAlpin), a talent manager and father, Ronald Otis "Ronnie" Lively. His parents' divorce when he was young. He grew up with his mother and step-father, Ernie Lively.
Lively has two sisters, Lori Lively and Robyn Lively, and two half-siblings, Eric Lively, and Blake Lively. They also belong to film industries.

Jason Lively debuted in the film industry in 1982. At the age of 10, he appeared in the pilot episode of American action-comedy television series, The Dukes of Hazzard.
In 1983, Lively made his first movie appearance in American science fiction, Brainstorm. The same year, he also had another appearance in The Dukes of Hazzard.
Lively's most notable roles are Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon's European Vacation and Chris in Night of the Creeps. He appeared in the movies, Ghost Chase, and Maximum Force.
Lively also worked in 1993 graphic adventure game, Return to Zork with his siblings, Robyn Lively and Lori Lively.
