Jennifer Joanne Metcalfe is a television actress, noted for her portrayal of Mercedes McQueen on the Channel Four soap opera Hollyoaks. By the age of 12, she started her acting career and since 1998 she has been actively working as an TV actress. Before entering to the entertainment industry, she had obtained a degree in Health and Fitness and also has worked as a fitness instructor in Bradford. She is the daughter of Colin Metcalfe.
