Australian model, Jessica Hart, appeared in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is well known as a former Vogue Australia cover girl. Hart is currently working for Victoria’s Secret and also appeared in American Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She is an owner of a clothing brand called ‘Neon Hart,' from which certain percentage of the profit goes donated to children’s charity 'Destiny Rescue.'
Early Life and Education
The gap-toothed beauty, Jessica Hart was born on 26th March 1986 in Sydney, Australia. She is the daughter of Rae Hart. Her sister, Ashley Hart, is also a model.
Hart attended Sophia Mundi Steiner School in Abbotsford, Victoria until she was discovered by an agent at the age of 15 at a local shopping center. Jessica was highly encouraged by her aunt to enter the Dolly model search that Miranda Kerr had previously won in 1997.
In 2000, Hart won the Dolly modeling competition – it was the break that would see the 15-year-old having to choose between her education or her fledgling modeling career. She moved to the U.S from Australia at the age of 16 to pursue her catwalk dream.
Career
In 2004 she walked for Betsey Johnson and Venexiana at New York Fashion Week. In 2008 played a role in an Entourage- alongside Alyssa Sutherland.
In 2009 she signed on to appear in advertising for Victoria's Secret. In 2010 she walked in the Spring/Summer also in 2011, she worked for shows for Gottex Swimwear, PPQ, Louise Gray and much more
Jessica featured twice in Australian Vogue. She became the face of British fashion label Karen Millen. She also worked as a model for the Espirit Spring advertising campaign and featured in the Barney’s New York fall catalog, styled by Carine Roitfeld.
From 2012 -2013 she walked the runway in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Again in 2014 graced the cover of Australian Vogue. A year later Hart worked for Vionnet at Paris Fashion Week and featured in a fall campaign for Michael Kors watches.
Personal Life
Jessica Hart previously dated Nicolas Potts, a photographer from Sydney Australia based in New York City. The ex-couple together bought a $1-million one-bedroom property in Manhattan's Battery Park during the summer of 2008.
Hart and Potts mutually ended their relationship in 2010. She is reportedly engaged to Stavros Niarchos III, Greek billionaire beau since 2011, son of Stavros Niarchos a multi-billionaire Greek shipping tycoon.
The couple was guests at the wedding of their friends Giovanna Battaglia and Oscar Engelbert on the Italian island of Capri. During that time the lovebirds seemed like they were having a pretty good time. Maybe Hart and Stavros III are next in line to get married.
