Robertson began her career as a film actress. She made her film debut with Shuten Doji: The Star Hand Kid 1-Hyoki followed by Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma in 1989. Her fame reached heights with the movie The Big Green in 1995 through her mesmerizing performance as Kate Douglas. She also got an opportunity to give her voice in the animation movie Tekken: The Motion Picture.
