A Canadian figure skater, Rochette is the 2004 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2009 World silver medalist, the 2010 Olympic bronze medalist and a six-time Canadian national champion (2005-2010). By the age of two, she began skating, after her mother took her to the rink. She is a spokesperson for the "iheartmom" campaign at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. She is the daughter of Normand Rochette and Therese Rochette.
Moving on to her personal life, she is yet unmarried as she hasn't found that special person whom she can trust and live rest of her life with happiness and joy. It's not like she hasn't dated anyone till date, few years back she was in a relationship with a handsome Canadian Short Track Speed Skater but their relationship didn't last long.
