An American film and television actor who is popular for his role as merchant Sol Star on the HBO series Deadwood which includes his first major role. In 2015, he worked in movie The Everest alongside Demetri Goritsas and Emily Margaret Watson. From his small age he was fascinated towards acting. In 1977 he graduated from Jefferson High School. So, he moved to Texas in-order achieve his aim. He is also co-founder of Big State Productions Theater Company.
