Jonathan Stephen Ross is a radio and television presenter best known as a presenter of 2000s BBC One chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. For his contribution to the British music industry he was awarded the 2009 Music Industry Trusts' Award. In 2005 Queen's Birthday Honours List, he received the "Officer of the Order of the British Empire" for his services to broadcasting. His father was a lorry driver and his mother Martha Ross was a film extra.
