An actress, Julie Warner made her first screen appearance of note in the bucolic romantic comedy, "Doc Hollywood" (1991), as Michael J Fox's quirky love interest. After a breakthrough role in 1991, New York City native she appeared in “Mr. Saturday Night,” “Indian Summer,” “The Puppet Masters,” “Tommy Boy” and many movies. Julie played the role of Christy Henshaw in two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "Booby Trap" and "Transfigurations".
Early Life
Warner was born in Manhattan on 9th February 1965 and grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She is a daughter of Neil and Naomi. She holds American nationality with white ethnicity.
Her father Neil Warner was a jingle composer, a pianist, an arranger, and a former jazz bandleader. Her mother worked as an independent marketing consultant. Moreover, she is the licensing director for Harry N. Abrams Inc., art book publishers in New York.
Julie attended The Dalton School, where she met with an acting agent which led to a gig on the television soap opera 'Guiding Light' in 1981. She gained a degree in theater arts from Brown University in 1987. She also worked as a waitress while auditioning for acting.
Career
In 1989, Warner appeared in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation: Booby Trap and in 1990 in Transfigurations. Her breakthrough role came in 1991 co-starring in Doc Hollywood alongside Michael J. Fox. It was followed by Mr. Saturday Night in which she co-starred with Bill Crystal.
Other movies she worked in are Indian Summer, The Puppet Masters, Tommy Boy, Stick It. Apart films she also featured in TV series like Family Law, Nip/Tuck, House MD and much more. In 2008 she starred in the movie Our First Christmas. In 2012, she made a guest appearance in an episode of Dexter.

On 17th June 1995, Julie Warner married writer-director Jonathan Alexander Prince, the son of Dr. Martin Prince and Gayle Prince. Rabbi Meyer Heller performed their marriage ceremony at the Ebell Club in Los Angeles. The Rabbi for their special wedding was Meyer Heller. They have a son named Jackson Roy Prince born in 1997.
Her husband is a film director based in Los Angeles. He graduated from Harvard University. His father used to work as an optometrist and his mother is a teacher for hearing-impaired children.
