Dr Katherine Sanborn is a psychologist who specializes in the treatment of psychiatric inpatients. She has practiced Psychiatry for more than 15 years. Dr. Sanborn has a special interests in residency education, psychotherapy training, administration and developmental psychopathology. In 1999, she completed her residency at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is even more popular as the wife of a professional poker player.
She has been happily married to Phillip Jerome Hellmuth, an American professional poker player. The couple met when both Phil and Katherine Sanborn, were attending the University of Wisconsin at Madison. The couple wed one year after Phil had made poker history by becoming the youngest ever winner of the World Series of Poker Main Event. The couple has a good, steady relationship, now going over twenty years strong.
