Kevin Dobson is an American actor and director, known for Knots Landing. He is popular for his role of Detective Bobby Crocker on the popular 1970s CBS crime drama Kojak. Before embarking on an acting career, Dobson worked as a trainman, brakeman ad conductor for the Long Island Rail Road, followed by a few years as a waiter, then bartender, at Manhattan restaurant Brew’s, owned by relatives. He is one of seven siblings of his parents.
