American actress, and television director, Lea Thompson made her home-media screen debut in 1982 as Cecily "Sissy" Loper in the interactive live-action video game entitled "MysteryDisc: Murder, Anyone?" She made her movie debut in 1983, with Jaws 3-D. She also appeared in the TV film 'Final Approach', which debuted in the U.S. on 24th May 2008. In 2014, Thompson won the American Movie Awards in a category of Best Actress for her work in "The Trouble with the Truth."
Lea Thompson has been married to Howard Deutch, a film director since 1989. They first met on the set of "Some Kind of Wonderful" in 1987. The couple is parents to two daughters; Madelyn Deutch, an actress, and writer was born on 23rd March 1991 and Zoey, was born on 10th November 1994. Thompson and her daughters sang on stage in the 'Bye Bye Birdie' production for the 16th annual Alzheimer's Association "A Night at Sardi's" in March 2008.
