An Austrian-born American theoretical chemist who was awarded with the 2013 Nobel Prize for Chemistry for developing accurate computer models of chemical reactions. He is also one of the director of the Biophysical Chemistry Laboratory. In 1950 he achieved AB degree from Harvard College. He graduated from the California Institute of Technology. He started his career by becoming a professor at the Louis Pasteur University. He has also established his own a research group in Strasbourg, France.
