A sports presenter for the BBC who is better known for presenting sport on BBC Breakfast on Fridays. He was 8 years old when he started his own newspaper called Daily Owl. He completed his schooling from Ashwell School. After graduating, he attended the National Youth Theatre. He holds a degree in drama and television degree from King Alfred's College in Winchester. He started his professional career as a news reporter for Hampshire Chronicle newspaper. His first job in broadcasting was at BBC Radio Solent as a trainee reporter. Later he was transferred as an entertainment reporter–presenter for BBC South Today.
Regarding his marital status, he had to face many up and downs during his marital relationship. He was married to his childhood sweetheart. They have three children together and were leading happy married life but later, unexpectedly, there was some misunderstanding between couple and they thought to end their relationship and the couple got divorced. Currently he is single.
