An American award-winning Senior International Correspondent at CNN, Nic Robertson is currently married to an International CNN correspondent from 1989 to 2002 , Margaret Lowrie Robertson. Robertson started his career in broadcasting in 1984 within the engineering arm of the UK's Independent Broadcasting Authority.Robertson became a producer in CNN's Chicago Bureau. He is one of the very few western journalists in Taliban-held Afghanistan when the terror attacks unfolded in the United States on 11 September 2001.
