After moving on to work on All My Children as Melanie Cortlandt, she took on the role of April O'Neil in the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, which was originated by Judith Hoag. She reprised this role in the 1993 sequel.
All these years, she drew major roles in a host of TV series, including Winnetka Road, American Gothic, NYPD Blue, Party of Five, The Agency, Rescue Me, Big Shots, Damages, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: SVU, Person of Interest, and NCIS: New Orleans.
