Patrick Rothfuss is a writer. He is well known for his projected three-volume series “The Kingkiller Chronicle”. Patrick received his bachelor degree in English from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens. He won the Writers of the Future 2002 Second Quarter competition with "The Road to Levinshir", an excerpt from his then-unpublished novel The Wise Man's Fear and he sold the series now known as The Kingkiller Chronicle to publisher DAW Books.
Patrick Rothfuss has published a not-for-children picture book series as well, titled "The Adventures of the Princess and Mr. Whiffle", which includes two books: The Thing Beneath the Bed and The Dark of Deep Below. He married to Sarah Rothfuss and he has two children whose names he does not disclose. On his blog he calls them on “Oot” and “Cutie Snoo.
