Patrick Stump is an American singer, songwriter, and musician best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, pianist and composer of the band Fall Out Boy. Patrick was born to father David, a folk singer, and mother Patricia (née Vaughn) Stumph, an accountant as the youngest child. His parents divorced when he was eight years old and his father remarried in 2001. Stump embarked on a solo career as a side-project from Fall Out Boy during its break. He has also appeared in The Young Blood Chronicles, Fall Out Boy's eleven-part music video story to support the band's 2013 album Save Rock and Roll with bandmates. In 2012, Stump was elected a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Chicago Chapter Governors.
Patrick Stump has worked as an actor in the TV series "Law and Order". Later he appeared in the movie "Sex Drive" as well. After dating for few years, Patrick married his longtime girlfriend, Elisa Yao. Stump lost 65 pounds when Fall Out Boy went on the break. It was due to the growing health issues including asthma and pre-diabetes, with which he was diagnosed of later. Stump suffered from high cholesterol and high blood pressure as well.
