An Actress, comedian, writer, and producer, Rachel Dratch is well known from NBC television show called Saturday Night Live (SNL), as a cast member from 1999 to 2006. Dratch’s seven-year “Saturday Night Live” contract was up in 2006, after which she was cast in a sitcom created by her pal Tina Fey, “30 Rock,” to play a character named Jenna. She also joined the improvisational comedy group called "Said and Done."
Early life and education
Rachel Dratch was born on 22nd February 1966, in Lexington, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Elaine Ruth, a transportation director, and Paul Dratch, a radiologist. She belongs to white ethnicity and is an American citizen. Her younger brother, Daniel Dratch is a television producer and writer on Anger Management.
She attended the National Theater Institute at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in the fall of 1986, and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1988, majored in drama and psychology.
Career
From 1999 to 2006, Rachel Dratch appeared on Saturday Night Live. In 2000 she worked in Third Watch in a role of Darla. In 2002 she appeared on Kim Possible as Adrena Lynn.
She was also a cast member of the series The King of Queens from 2002 to 2004. After that Dratch has appeared on many hit TV series namely Monk, Game Over, 30 Rock, Ugly Betty, Salem Rogers: Model of the Year 1998 and so on.
Besides TV shows she has also featured in movies like Martin & Orloff, Down With Love, Her Minor Thing, Click, Spring Breakdown, That's My Boy, Sisters and much more.
In 2012 she published an autobiographical book entitled Girl Walks Into a Bar: Comedy Calamities, Dating Disasters, and a Midli.

Dratch has managed to win two awards with her acting skills. She won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in a Revenue for Paradigm Lost and Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in a Revenue for Promisekeepers, Losers Weepers. The couple met at a bar in 2009. Six months later at the age of forty-four, she was shocked to find herself pregnant. She gave birth to a son named Eli Benjamin Wahl born on 24th August 2010. He is the only child of the couple. As of now, the couple is living a happy and lavish life with no signs of getting a divorce.
