Rachel Maddow is an American television host, author, and political commentator. She was born to father Robert B.”Bod”Maddow, a former United States Air Force captain and mother Elaine Maddow, a school program administrator. Rachel completed her high school studies from Castro Valley High School and then went to Stanford University. She started her career from a radio program in WRNX as a host in Holyoke.
Rachel Maddow works in MSNBC television as the host of "The Rachel Maddow Show". She has won several awards including Emmy Award in the Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis category, Gracie Award in 2009, Proclamation of Honor from the California State Senate, and 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Rachel is openly a lesbian and is in relation with Susan Mikula. They live together in Manhattan and Western Massachusetts.
