Raymond George is a five time Gold Logie wining Australian journalist and entertainment personality. He is best known for his various on-air roles on Channel Nine from 1978. In 2011 he returned to Curent Affairs 60 Mintures in a part-time capacity.He was the youngest of four children and their only son. He and his family had a hard time as they moved from one place to another, her mother changed their surname to Martin so that their drunk father won’t find them. Ray graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1967.In 1978, Martin joined Nine Network to launch 60Minutes along with reporter George Negus and Ian Leslie. He also presented variety show and hosted many television show such as Commonwealth games, Logie Award, World cup cricket. Ray also assisted in reporting with major events including the Indonesian tsunami disaster in 2005.
Ray is married to Dianne Martin and has two children, daughter Jenna and son Luke. Both father daughter Ray and Jeena have recently released books-Ray’s is a collection of photographs he has taken and Jeena’s is a novel about being the daughter if a famous Australian, with sly parodies of the entertainment industry. Luke wants to be an actor. There is no much information on their personal life.
