A Mexican-American actress, Rosanna DeSoto is best known for her role in �Stand and Deliver�. She was born to Mexican parents. She graduated from San Jose High School in the mid-1960s. Rosanna DeSoto made her film debut in 1979 with The In-Laws. Rosanna DeSoto won the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actress for her performance in The ;Ballad of Gregorio Cortez.
