An Australian athlete who is best known for winning the 100-meters hurdles gold at the 2012 London Olympics. She was studying in primary school while her coach Sharon Hannan noticed her talent and trained her. She was 14 years old when she won Australian Youth 100m and 90m hurdles titles. When she turned 16, she represented Australia in the 2003 World Championships in Paris. She won silver medal at the 2008 Beijing games. International Association of Athletics Federations named her Female Athlete of the Year in 2011.
She was all over the news after she faced accident where she broke bone of her left forearm which ruined the remainder of her 2015 season. Talking about her marital status, she is happily married woman. She got married with her high school sweet heart. Their marriage was performed in Gold Coast presence of their family and friends. They celebrate their honeymoon in Los Angeles and Hawaii. They have not been biological parents yet.
