She is a professional drummer, best known for her work with the band Black Veil Brides from 2008 to 2010. Since her departure, she has joined post hardcore bands such as Modern Day Escape and Open Your Eyes. She left the rock group Black Veil Brides following the release of the Black Veil Brides first world wide album We Stitch These Wounds in 2011. She is commonly known as Sandra Alva.
