Sandra Lee Scheuer was a student at Kent State University, who was killed by Ohio National Guardsmen in the Kent State shootings. Though she did not take part in the Vietnam War protests that preceded the shootings, she died of innocence. She was an honors student in speech therapy and was a graduate of Boardman High School. She was the daughter of Sarah Scheuer and Martin Scheuer.
Moving on to her personal life, she was a young talented lady who was much more focused on her studies but unfortunately, she was shot through the neck with an M-1 rifle from a distance of 130 yards while walking between classes and died within five or six minutes from loss of blood, during Vietnam War protests. As she was very young she was unmarried.
