Sarah Anne Wayne Callies is an American actress who is best known to public for portraying on AMC's The Walking Dead as Lori Grimes and as Sara Tancredi in Fox's Prison Break. From the National Theater Conservatory located in Denver, Colorado, she earned a Masters of Fine Arts and received an MFA in 2002. Her mother is Valerie Wayne, an English professor and father is David E. Callies, a Law professor.

She gained her high school education from the Punahou School and she participates in every plays in the school. Later she joined the Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire but she was very active in the theater too.

Career
In 2003, Callies debut in television with CBS show Queens Supreme where she portrays the character of Kate O'Malley. Later she worked on numerous Tv shows as guest appearances.
Her first pivotal role was on Fox's Prison Break but her character was killed off in the third season. In 2010, she again hit the small screen with The Walking Dead, based on the comic-book series of the same name. The show was the highest rated show in the cable channels history.
