Shari Einhorn is an award-winning journalist who has worked for News 12 Long Island since 1995. Shari is now a health reporter and has a terrific ability to get people to open up about their health/medical concerns. As a journalist, she has been recognized for her stories on breast cancer, childhood cancer, heroin addiction and AIDS. Shari also covers breaking news stories. She is always outside in a snowstorm or hurricane, usually warning everyone else to stay inside. Since she started at the station as an intern while getting her Masters Degree at the New York Institute of Technology, she is a mentor for new interns and is usually the one they request over the summer.
Shari Einhorn is a busy wife and an active PTA mom for her two young sons. She chairs several committees and enjoys helping out at school events. She spends a lot of time shuttling her boys to and from sporting events. However her husband's name is not disclosed, the couple is happily married and still stay together. They are supportive of each other personally and professionally. Sustaining their relationship for years, together they are the parents of two children.
