Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Somaya is often known as the legendary Egyptian star. She was born to Saeed Al Sayyid Fatiha. She studied at the faculty of commerce for her degree. She is mainly famous for her work in the movies The Yacoubian Building (2006), Hena maysara (2007) and Kayd El-Nisaa (2011). She has also taken part in theatrical productions such as “Ballo” and “Kharbasha”.
Along with actress, she is also known for her singing works. She has been involved in many talk shows as well. She has revealed that she has been married twice before. Her first husband was Egyptian and her second was a businessman from the Arab Gulf region. But she has not exactly disclosed whom she was married with.
