Trina Colette McGee was born on December 6, 1968, and is an American actress. She is particularly favored for playing the role of Angela Moore in the famous sitcom Boy Meets World. She studied at Howard University and rose to prominence in the late 1990s. She has also acted in several other sitcoms, like Martin and Family Matters. McGee is a mother of three and has been married to Marcello Thedford since 2008.

In June 2024, McGee announced on social media that she is pregnant at age 54, which she described as a "miracle," as she had her "tubes tied" and was already a year into menopause. She posted the update from Belize, where she claimed to have become pregnant after drinking an elixir given to her by shamans. This joy, however, turned sour as she announced on September 23, 2024, in an interview with The Tamron Hall Show, that she had a miscarriage three months into the pregnancy. She explained, "I did lose the baby. It wasn't expected," showing immense gratitude even as she lost it for having been in a position to conceive at this stage in life.
After the miscarriage, McGee shared how she plunged into serious depression and even how to face every day was like a problem. She remembered her dreams about continuing the family and how painfully hard it was to face her reality-that all these dreams might just not come into being as of that part of her life.
Advocacy and Inspiration
Although McGee received criticism about choosing to get pregnant at an older age, she has since become an advocate for women over 40 who are looking to conceive. She said that many women personally shared their own stories after her pregnancy announcement, which allowed her to express the importance of open conversations about fertility and motherhood at older ages.
