Vinnie was born on 27th September 1962 in the city of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, U.S. He started going to the gym when he was 8 years old which made him a fitness freak. He was a star athlete during his school days at Ascension Catholic High School. He completed his degree from Tulane University as he was offered a scholarship in the university.
After graduating, he started working as a fitness trainer. During the period, he also worked as a host in the top rated radio show WSMB for some period. Later he also joined Newman high School in New Orleans as a coach. There he trained students including Archie Manning’s sons.
Career
After working in a fitness center, he gained popularity and started training Hollywood celebrity. Not only Hollywood stars, but captains of industry, stay at home moms, working moms, pregnant mom, ultra-athletes and even children wanted to train under him.
During the year 2012, he started “Vinnie Tortorich, Celebrity Trainer” along with co-host Anna Vocino. They are best known for the self-improvised show “Free Radio” on Comedy Centre. Moreover, the podcast was listed in the top rated show on iTunes.
The following year, he wrote and released his first book “Monty,” which was one of the best-selling children books of the year. He also published his second book “Fitness Confidential” where he has described his career as a personal trainer. He has given lots of fitness information for maintaining good health.
