Walt Flanagan’s Early Life and Education

Walt Flanagan was born Walter Flanagan on 23rd October 1967. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, United State and he grew up in nearby Highlands.

He attended Henry Hudson Regional High School along with one of the famous comic writer Kevin Smith. But they didn't speak to each other during their high school days.

After the graduation, they both work at the same recreation center. Working at a same recreational center, they took six or seven months to speak and finally they started to talk to each other around four months out from Batman, the Micheal Keaton movie. After that, they became good friends.

He belongs to American nationality and white ethnicity.

In 1994 he performed in the movie Clerks as four different characters. He has also appeared in others several films like Mallrats, Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II, Jay, Shooting Clerks, Vulgar, and TV series- Mallrats and Clerks.

As a comic book artist, Flanagan has provided the art for several of Smith’s and Johnson’s comic projects as he is one of the famous comic artists, which include his illustrations for Johnson’s 2005 four-issue horror miniseries entitled Karney and his 2007 miniseries War of the Undead.

Walter draws artworks for local heavy metal bands. Flanagan looks after a comic book store Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash as a manager. He is also a co-host of podcast named- Tell Em Steve-Dave with his long friend Bryan Johnson and Brian Quinn.

He also wrote a lyrics for the song titled I Sell Comic. He was a part of podcast Tell Em Steve-Dave which won the award for Podcast Award For Comedy as a co-host back in 2010.
