Malin Akerman, a Swedish-Canadian actress, singer, and model, is currently dating Colin Egglesfield, an American actor, since 2014. Malin was born to mother Pia Sundstrom, an aerobics teacher and model, and father Magnus Akerman, an insurance broker. Her family moved to Canada and settled there when she was two years old. Malin attended Sir Winston Churchill Secondary school and also went to catholic school. At the age of five, she began her modeling career appearing in TV commercials.
Malin Akerman won the Canadian title of Ford Supermodel at the age of seventeen. As an actress, she made her acting debut on the science fiction series “ Earth:Final Conflict”. She is best known for her role in the movie "The Utopian Society". She got married to her long-time boyfriend, Italian musician, Roberto Zincone on June 20, 2007, whom she met in 2003 as the band members of the band "The Petalstones". They separated in 2013.
